This page is designed to provide you with the latest information and answers to your questions regarding how the outbreak is impacting global shipments. ALERT: California and Pennsylvania

California has extended their shelter in place order to cover the entire state. In addition, a curfew has been implemented in Pennsylvania.

Canada and the United States Border - UPDATE

Canada and the United States have agreed to restrict non-essential travel across the border as both countries try to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.

16 Mar, 2020 Contingency Planning


Canada has closed its border to non-Canadians or non-permanent residents; the only people allowed in will be Canadian citizens, permanent residents and US Citizens for the time being. Starting March 18th.

15 Mar, 2020 Contingency Planning

Travel Update:

  • United Kingdom: residents will not be allowed to travel to the United States for 30 days beginning 16 March
  • Ireland: residents will not be allowed to travel to the United States for 30 days beginning 16 March
  • Uruguay: Travelers from Italy, Spain, Germany, Korea, Iran, Singapore, Japan and France are not allowed to enter the country.
  • Peru: All flights to Europe will be suspended as of 16 March for 30 days.

14 Mar, 2020 Contingency Planning

The following added border closures were announced today:

  • Spain is closing borders, quarantining citizens, banning inbound flights and closing the country
  • Netherlands is closing borders
  • Slovenia is closing borders
  • Slovakia is closing borders
  • Romania is closing borders

The US government announced that it was extending its travel ban to apply to the United Kingdom, Ireland and Poland, effective Monday.

Most companies, institutions and medical facilities are working to protect employees, patients and visitors. At many facilities, particularly medical facilities, the public is screened prior to entry. This applies to our drivers making pick-ups and deliveries.

CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19 Preventive Temperature -Tests Performed at Hospitals - Update 11 March, 8:00pm EDT

Hospitals working to protect employees and patients are now starting to temperature-test the public entering hospitals which includes our drivers making Pick Ups and Deliveries, before allowing access into their facilities. We will continue to monitor each shipment and alert you should there be a delay.

The American Red Cross:
is facing a "severe blood shortage" due to the coronavirus outbreak. You can schedule a blood donation appointment by visiting, using the Red Cross Blood Donor App, calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or enabling the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device.
