NY, NJ & CT have travel restrictions in place for the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.  New to this list are Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, and West Virginia effective 9/09. Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands were removed from this list as of 9/09.

Rhode Island update: visitors from Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming must self quarantine for 14 days.   An online visitor declaration form is required.  Healthcare related workers or workers picking up or delivering essential supplies are exempt.  Rhode Island removed Alabama, California, and Hawaii from the list and added Delaware, Louisiana, Maryland and Montana to the list of quarantine required states as of 9/08.

Chicago and Cook County, Illinois travel restrictions: They are ordering travelers coming from states with high numbers of coronavirus infections to quarantine for 14 days upon arriving in Chicago. The order currently applies to people coming from these 21 states/territories: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Texas.
